Accessibility statement
Innovation must serve everyone. We want this website to work for people of all abilities.
Our commitment
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA. Accessibility reflects our values: inclusivity, sustainability and care for people.
- Perceivable. Information comes in forms everyone can take in, such as text alternatives for images.
- Operable. Menus, links and forms work with a mouse, a touch screen or a keyboard alone.
- Understandable. We write in plain English, in short sentences.
- Robust. Pages use standard HTML that works with assistive technologies.
This statement covers Fooditive Group’s website. We aim for full conformance and will confirm it with an independent audit.
What we tested
- Automated checks. Every page, with the axe-core checker, at phone (390 px) and desktop (1,440 px) widths.
- Keyboard. The skip link, menus, forms and fold-out sections, with a visible focus ring on every control.
- Contrast over photos. We measured the pixels behind hero and banner text to keep at least 4.5:1 contrast.
- Reduced motion. When your device asks for less motion, animations and smooth scrolling stop.
- Tap targets. Buttons, menu items and footer links are at least 44 × 44 pixels.
- Small screens. Pages fit widths from 360 to 1,920 pixels without sideways scrolling.
Tests run in October 2026 in the Chromium browser, with axe-core and our own checks.
Known limitations
- Screen readers. Screen-reader testing with NVDA and VoiceOver is the next step in our programme.
- Diagrams. Some technical diagrams are graphics. The text around them gives the key points, but not every detail.
- PDF documents. Data sheets we send on request may not be fully accessible. Ask us for the content in another format.
- Other websites. Links to scientific studies and other websites lead to pages run by other organisations.
The content editor at /admin is a staff tool and is not covered by this statement.
How we keep improving
- We run the same checks whenever we add or change a page.
- We review colour contrast, readability and clarity in every design change.
- We fix barriers you report to us, then check the page again.
- We update this statement after every review.
This statement was prepared on 24 October 2026.
